Dulbecco’s Phosphate Buffered Saline (DPBS) is designed to maintain the physiology and morphology of mammalian cells. DPBS is commonly used for rinsing cells, as a diluent in various chromatographic procedures, and in cell enumeration. It is also used to wash cells during the dissociation process.
This 10X-concentrated formulation contains no calcium or magnesium ions, so it does not inhibit trypsin activity.
